Driven by their passion for its magical setting, John and Clare have faithfully restored this charming house and enchanting gardens to their original splendour.

The refurbishment project, started in 2001 and has breathed new life into what was a tired and neglected property. With Clare's creativity and 20 years of experience as an Interior Designer, and John's desire for peace and quiet in the countryside, as well as his business acumen as chairman of his own Lloyds Insurance Brokerage, this property has regained its former grandeur.

Clare is now drawing on her other areas of expertise and refocusing her energy to re-establish her home-based business as a qualified complimentary therapist, specialising in proficiencies such as Holistic Massage, Energy Balancing, Polarity, Cranio-Sacral, Colour Therapy, Reiki, NLP, EMO Trance and EFT among others.  Clare will be hosting one-day workshops on the above complimentary therapies.

Although a novice to horticulture, Clare's desire to share her beautiful garden with others has led her to open the grounds to the public, providing teas and home-made cakes on the terrace, as well as garden tours conducted by her Head Gardener Sarah Russell.

Wherever possible, John & Clare are also immersing themselves in many projects to open up their home for the benefit of the community and charitable events.
